CALGARY, Alberta, April 23, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Quorum Information Technologies (TSX Venture: QIS) announced today that it has completed testing, piloting and certification of its XSellerator Dealer Management System’s (DMS) service inspection and quoting tools with General Motors Canada Ltd. (GMCL) under the GM DTAP Service Lane category. XSellerator was already certified in the category in the US and is the first DMS to attain the certification in Canada. The new integrated functionality is immediately available for all General Motors dealerships in Canada.
The XSellerator DMS includes a full suite of service tools embedded within the DMS. The functionality covers the spectrum of a dealership’s interaction with a service customer – from appointments to recommended maintenance, service advisor walk-around inspections, technician inspections and quoting. These features are often separate add-on components or software with many other DMS providers and third-party software vendors.
GMCL has certified XSellerator’s service lane tools and integration with GM’s Service Workbench for its dealerships. Dealerships can use XSellerator’s tools to complete inspections and quotes, and all data is reported to GMCL to meet their specifications and dealership reporting requirements.
Dan Ichelson, Quorum’s VP – Product and Operations stated, “A part of our core philosophy is to provide a complete integrated system for dealerships to avoid costly add-ons or additional software. Further, we focus our efforts on features and functions that truly drive revenue and enhance customer satisfaction for dealerships. We are proud to have been recognized by GMCL under the DTAP Service Lane program as meeting their stringent requirements for providing the best customer service available.
